Drink Your Way to All You Want - One Glass at a Time

Filed under: Mind/Body/Spirit, Healing, Spirituality, Psychology, Miscellaneous — Midnight on September 14, 2008 @ 12:58 am

Have you ever stopped to think what’s in the water you drink? And I don’t mean the preservatives, purifying whatsits, pollutant thingamajigs, fancy flavours, or teeny tiny molecules of gorgeousness embedded in the water at the moment of its birth, somewhere high in the Swiss Alps, where a little cold spring pours forth the nectar of life for convenient plastic bottling and shipping worldwide.

All joking aside, I mean the water’s energy - the thoughts, vibes, and intent. We know water responds to the environment in which it exists. But lesser known research has proved water also responds to the thoughts and emotions to which it’s exposed.

Japanese researcher Dr. Masaru Emoto conducted many engaging tests examining the actual structure of water crystals in water that had been exposed to various stimuli. Some was polluted water that, after being prayed over, showed a significant removal of pollutants. Some was plain tap water exposed to the word/intent “love”, compared against the same tap water exposed to the word/intent “hate”. The results are amazing - water is formed, at its very molecular core, by the influences upon it!

That means we can make water a force for good. We drink it every day - 8 glasses, doctor’s orders. Right? Why not make it 8 glasses of joy? Or 3 of joy, 4 of prosperity, and 1 of please-make-this-headache-go-away? There’s no reason you can’t. Simply print a label on the glass or bottle from which you’re drinking and make that your intent as you consume the water. Bring joy or prosperity into your life. Heal yourself from the headache. The water with the crystals carrying your intent will penetrate your cells until you are filled, literally, with what you desire.

But don’t just take my word for it, look into it yourself, too. You may be astounded by what you see. Here are some cherry-picked references to get you started on your water investigation. (Maybe it’ll be a life-changing journey. It’s turning into one for me.) (more…)

The Return of the Girl and the Ghost

Filed under: Ask Pete, Miscellaneous — Midnight on September 13, 2008 @ 1:36 am

Plain and simply put: we’re back.

There was a bit of a road bump and we had to take an unplanned and undesired hiatus. Thanks to those who checked in during the absence, we appreciate the e-mails!

But we are back, better than ever. And boy is Pete ready to let his energy run riot. And me too!!

I also have some very exciting reading options coming up - extremely unique. There’s a web seminar (webinar) in the works, special healing sessions, and more. All this plus the free content on this blog. How can you not make this a daily stop?

Oh, and Pete says: Next time try the coffee black. (One of you will know what this means. For the rest…hey, if you’re a coffee drinker, might as well try it. You might love it, or it might put you off your coffee habit cold turkey!)

Remember you can always send in an e-mail via the contact form to ask Pete a question (for free). We’ll ensure his answers are a bit more concrete than what he blurted out above. But he’s Pete, you never know what you’ll get.

5 Spiritual Things You Shouldn’t Live Without

Filed under: Spirituality, Miscellaneous — Midnight on February 10, 2008 @ 1:20 pm

It’s a tough world, and we all need reinforcements for our body, mind, and spirit. These five spiritual tools can help you cope with whatever life throws at you. Never live without them!

1. Candles: It’s amazing how soothing a candle can be. Turn down the lights and light one, you’ll see what I mean! Candlelight is ingrained in our memories—the light of electricity is a new phenomenon compared to the light of a flame. We’ve been lighting our way with fire for millenia. It’s a homecoming to take a break from man-made lighting to that which nature provides. Of course, don’t do too much by candlelight, as that’s how generations past weakened their eyesight, too!

Beeswax candles have a distinct smell that can be very stimulating, as it is familiar to us all from centuries gone by. Sniff a genuine beeswax candle and you’ll see what I mean.

Forecast - Astragals & Bibliomancy

I love to combine the ancient Greek divination tool of astragals (sheep’s knuckles) with bibliomancy (divination through books). I cast the astragals, take a numeric tally, and go to the corresponding page of a book for some tidbit of advice or insight. Usually I choose the book from random from my bookshelf (or from ancient texts online) but sometimes I use specific books for specific purposes.

I thought, for fun, I’d occasionally give you guys a “forecast”–food for thought–using these tools. Does this phrase resonate with you? Maybe it’ll apply to your day in some way…

3 Ways to Unlock the Secrets of Your Past Lives

Filed under: Spirituality, Miscellaneous — Midnight on January 14, 2008 @ 12:48 pm

I’m going to tell you a secret: you can learn about your past lives without the help of somebody like me! Of course, you’ll find out more about them with the help of someone like me–or more details more quickly–but your memory is telling you everything you need to gather the puzzle pieces. Putting the pieces together takes some work, but if you enjoy a mystery then it’s a task you’ll love.

Your senses are constantly giving you clues about things you’ve experienced beyond this lifetime. Have you ever smelled something that gave you a nostalgic feeling you couldn’t explain? Ever found yourself in a place that looks eerily familiar? Chances are your unconscious mind is tugging at your sleeve and telling you there’s something to it.

Here are 3 easy ways that, with patience and practice, can help you discover more about your past lives. Even if you have someone like me read you and give you the foundation you can use these tips to further flesh out the details of your lives.

Amanda, You Are This Old

Happy holidays to you all! My apologies for the silence here, it’s been a busy holiday season.

Yesternight I received an e-mail from “Amanda” asking me a question sans introduction or any other information. It was one line with four words, four words every intuit has heard so many times we ought to charge for it. Yet I felt compelled to answer her. Unfortunately “Amanda” provided a fake e-mail address, so there is no way for me to contact her except here in this post, for everyone to see. That’s not such a bad thing, as what I have to say may be for the benefit of more than just her.

Dear “Amanda”,

In your e-mail of 28th December you write simply, “how old am I?” (and then include a link to the official Barbie web site, presumably to throw me off). I’d like to thank you for taking the time to write, as regardless of the content of your message, you allowed your curiosity to send it. Good for you. It’s OK to be inquisitive!

Welcome to Moonlit Snow!

Welcome to Moonlit Snow, my new blog! Thanks for stopping by. Over time I’ll be sharing my thoughts on topics spiritual, psychological, paranormal & more.

About Me: I’m a writer; I have almost 10 years experience putting pen to paper professionally. I’m also an intuit; I have over 15 years experience providing readings via divination and intuitive/psychic instinct both professionally and privately. I hope to give you, my readers, the benefit of my gifts! I have an honours BA degree in Psychology and though I am not a licensed counsellor, my educational background gives me a strong understanding of the human psyche which is very handy when working with others!

I do readings via e-mail and chat, so watch this space for announcements about types of readings and healing services I will be offering.

From time to time I’ll also be providing readings and Reiki healings free of charge, so check back often!!

  • I am adept at multiple forms of divination including, but not limited to: tarot, Runes, astragals/bibliomancy, psychometry, dominoes, talking boards, modern divination (e.g. contemporary oracles), I Ching, medicine bones, tea leaves, pendulum, and dice. I own dozens of tarot decks alone; each has its own feeling and is appropriate for different circumstances.
  • I’m extremely sensate–I feel things and experience physical stimuli in a nearly hypersensitive fashion.
  • I’m a Reiki Master/Teacher in Usui, Kundalini, Tacyon, Gold, and Crystal forms.
  • I receive impressions about the past, present, and future.
  • I have developed and instructed others in unique methods of past life divination.
  • I have a strong understanding of numerology and incorporate numerological aspects into my readings.
  • I possess a special connection to the dead and was born with the ability to sense the presence of spirits. Occasionally I will receive messages from beyond, though I do not consider myself a medium and cannot will the dead to speak to me; any and all such messages come via the conduit of my guide Pete.

About “Pete”: Most psychics and/or intuits have a strong relationship with spirit guides. Usually these are spirits (human or otherwise, depending on your beliefs) residing in another dimension, through whom guidance and information is given. Sometimes psychics just rely on their guides for protection during a reading. Sometimes guides are even considered akin to guardian angels.

Pete, well…he’s a different sort. Pete is my guide, but unlike most, he’s an enigmatic fellow residing on this plane. He may be transdimensional or he may be purely earthbound; either way, he’s present with me, a constant companion I’ve known throughout my life. Ghost? Imaginary friend? There are some who’d argue either way. But Pete has been seen and experienced by others and has appeared in photographs (when I am in frame).

I don’t trance or even meditate to speak with Pete; he is here, so I speak to him as I would speak to anyone else. His voice comes through as impressions or thoughts in my head (he has no voice that I can hear the way we traditionally hear). Some questions he refuses to answer–mostly questions about his identity–as if he’s bound to some sort of secrecy. As a result I’ve given him names over the years, primarily because I need something to call him! Pete is a name I settled on long ago. It suits him. And he suits me; he’s a very positive spirit, though he’s not above occasional impish trickery and once in a rare while he can have a bit of a temper. We’re very much alike in personality and I believe that’s why he was chosen to guide me. Pete is, as far as I can tell, new to the whole experience of being dead. He’s come back to learn as well as to teach. He’s an unorthodox guide to say the least, but I’m an unorthodox woman!

The dead know no time; they are not bound by the same physical restrictions that we are. Time, space, it’s all irrelevant; the past, present, and future are one to them. Ancients believed that while the dead know all, they are forbidden from revealing details such as specific details of what will happen when; Pete can’t tell me what lotto numbers to choose on what date (more’s the pity) but he can tell me to expect a turn in financial fortune and approximately when and what magnitude to anticipate. And on my own, without Pete, I can divine these things too. But between Pete and me we have a lot to offer.

About “the lonely tree”: The tree is a symbol that has resonated with me ever since I was a child and read stories about Odin and Yggdrasil. The Runes were my very first oracle; legend states they were snatched up by Odin while he hung from Yggdrasil, the world tree (tree of knowledge and of fate, with branches mirroring the shape of its roots; as above, so below), and through them he was able to discover true wisdom.

Solitary trees standing tall despite a sheltering forest around them are a remarkable thing. When we are lost, doubtful, hurting, or otherwise in need, we’re like lonely trees. I love to help people with my gifts and I like to think that when I help people find some answers and solace, I’m filling in a forest to surround them.

Please feel free to contact me any time. I welcome comments on my posts; you’ll find you can post text comments but also record video and audio right here on the blog!
